Meet Your Jet Guy Jordan Marcus

Private Aviation Advisor

Tracking the details before they become problems.

Jordan Marcus

Why Jordan Marcus Is Your Jet Guy

Jordan Marcus grew up with jets in the background, literally. His family’s home in New Jersey sits right under the Teterboro flight path, and that everyday exposure turned into a genuine obsession with aviation that never really left. Today, Jordan brings that same curiosity and energy to his work as a private aviation advisor, pairing sharp industry knowledge with a relationship style that feels personal, attentive, and always on.

Jordan is an aviation nerd in the best way. He’s constantly tracking flights, following movements, and using that awareness to stay ahead of what could impact a trip. Clients feel it in the way he communicates, he’s quick, engaged, and tuned into the details, while still keeping the conversation easy and human. He loves the exclusivity of private aviation and takes pride in helping high-expectation fliers understand what’s happening behind the scenes, so the experience doesn’t just feel luxurious, it feels confidently managed.

Four Questions With Private Aviation Advisor Jordan Marcus

Where do you call home, and what does life outside of aviation look like for you?

I live in New Jersey. I was born in New York City, but my family moved out to the suburbs in NJ when I was about three or four. Outside of work, I’m definitely an aviation nerd. I’m also really into music, especially hip hop, and the business side of the music industry. When I’m not tracking planes, I’m usually listening to podcasts about music. I also love sports and the New York Giants, even though we’re terrible.

How long have you been working in private aviation, and how did you get started?

I’ve been in private aviation for almost three years. The house we moved into in New Jersey is in the runway path of Teterboro, so ever since I was young I’ve been into planes. In high school I shadowed at Jet Aviation TEB. After I graduated college, I took a charter course at Jet Linx Teterboro with Debra Higgins. I also worked at ETA Jets after meeting one of the owners at a charity event, and that helped me build real experience in the charter world early on.

Can you share a challenging flight request you handled and how you met it?

One situation that really stayed with me wasn’t just challenging, it was emotional. A client’s dog passed away on a flight. The client was heartbroken, and in moments like that, the logistics matter, but what matters even more is making sure the client feels heard and supported. My trip support team and I made a call to the client’s father, since the daughter was the one on the plane. He appreciated how much support the crew showed, and how much we showed as well. To this day, the father and I still keep in touch.

What kind of relationship do you want to build with your clients? How can you help them?

I want to build relationships with my clients that last forever. I want them to know that at any time, any place, anywhere, I am always available. I can help them elevate their travel experience, and the goal is to have them associate an amazing trip with a memory of you being part of it. In this industry something will always go wrong at some point, but it’s how you respond and how you rebound that builds trust. If a client feels heard and safe, they will trust you.
