Why John Carnemolla Is Your Jet Guy
John Carnemolla is a North Jersey native who brings a steady, people-first style to private aviation. With five years in the industry, he’s built his approach around one simple idea: the best charter experience starts with understanding the person behind the trip. John is easy to work with, consistent in how he communicates, and focused on making sure the process feels clear and handled, not complicated.
John was introduced to private aviation through a mutual friend who thought he’d be a strong fit, and the work clicked immediately because it’s centered on people. What he enjoys most is meeting new clients and helping them get to destinations that matter to them, whether it’s a long-planned getaway or a trip that comes together quickly. John is especially strong on Caribbean travel, with a sharp feel for island routing, regional airport options, and the small details that make those trips run smoothly from departure to arrival.
Four Questions With Private Aviation Advisor John Carnemolla
Where do you call home, and what does life outside of aviation look like for you?
I live in North Jersey and I was born and raised here. My family is close by, so home has always been home for me. Outside of work, sports are a big part of my life. I play when I can, I watch whenever there’s a good game on, and it’s honestly how I reset.
What do you enjoy most about working in private aviation and what kind of trips do you enjoy most?
I enjoy meeting new people and helping them get to destinations that are important to them. Every client has a different reason for flying, and I like being the person who helps make that trip happen smoothly, whether it’s personal, business, or a mix of both. As for destinations, the Caribbean is my favorite. There’s something about those trips that feels like a true break, warm weather, great energy, and an easy escape when you want to get away and actually unplug.
How long have you been working in private aviation, and how did you get started?
I’ve been working in private aviation for five years. I was introduced to the business by a mutual friend who was already in the industry and thought I would be a good fit. The best part of the job is getting to interact with clients and learn about their goals. Everyone flies for different reasons, and I like figuring out what the client actually cares about most, then helping build the trip around that.
What kind of relationship do you want to build with your clients? How can you help them?
I want clients to feel like they have someone they can rely on. My goal is to be consistent, easy to reach, and proactive, so clients don’t feel like they have to manage the process. When you understand what the client wants and keep communication clear, the whole experience gets better, and that’s what I focus on every time.
