Why Dennis Is Your Jet Guy
Dennis Manning is the kind of private aviation advisor who makes complicated trips feel simple. He knows how to think a few moves ahead and match clients with aircraft that fit not just their trip, but the way they want to travel. He is steady, detail oriented and calm, which makes him a natural first call when you want someone to own the logistics so you don’t have to.
What sets Dennis apart is the way he combines deep aviation experience with genuine care for the client. He understands performance, cabin layouts and operations, but he talks in clear, practical terms and always brings the conversation back to comfort, timing and value. He tracks preferences, follows up before and after flights and keeps an eye on every leg so there are fewer surprises along the way. For Just Landed Jets clients, that adds up to a private jet charter experience that has them calling Dennis their Jet Guy.

Four Questions With Private Aviation Advisor Dennis Manning
Where do you call home, and what does life outside of aviation look like for you?
I live in Louisville, Kentucky, and recently moved back to my hometown to be closer to my family. Travel has always been a big part of my life. I love exploring new places, meeting new people and experiencing things that turn into lasting memories. Life is about the memories we create, whether that is a simple weekend away or a bigger trip with friends and family. Outside of work, I enjoy flying for fun, visiting new destinations and spending time with the people who matter most, which keeps me grounded and reminds me why thoughtful, comfortable travel is so important.
How long have you been working in private aviation? How did you get started?
What began as a simple love of airplanes evolved into a degree in Aviation Management, a commercial pilot’s certification, and a 25+ year career rooted in aviation.Over that time I have worked as a line service technician at a local airport, as a line pilot, and as a director of aircraft sales and acquisitions. Seeing aviation from the ground, the cockpit and the ownership side has given me a well-rounded view of what it takes to deliver a safe, comfortable and efficient flight for every client.
Can you share a challenging flight request you handled and how you met it?
Every flight is unique and I work to tailor each one to the client’s needs. One of the more memorable trips involved a client who had recently had hip surgery and needed seats at a certain height for comfort, along with an aisle wide enough to accommodate a walker. That required more than a standard aircraft search. I coordinated with our network of aircraft owners, reviewed multiple cabin layouts and double-checked the details so there would be no surprises on the day of travel. In the end, we secured an aircraft that not only met those requirements but exceeded my client’s expectations and allowed them to travel comfortably while they focused on recovery.
What kind of relationship do you want to build with your clients? How can you help them?
My goal is to build a long-term, trusting relationship where clients know I am watching their trip from start to finish. That means doing more than finding an aircraft that fits the route. I work to present the best options, then monitor each flight closely to make sure the experience is smooth and enjoyable. I keep detailed notes on preferences and future travel needs, stay in contact at the right times, and follow up before and after trips. Over time, that consistency helps clients feel confident that their travel is in good hands every time they reach out.
