Chief Operating Officer

Keeping every trip and every team moving in the same direction.

Bianca Mancia

How Bianca Makes Every Just Landed Jets' Trip Smoother

Bianca Manica is the person making sure Just Landed Jets runs the way clients expect it to, quietly and without friction. With more than a decade in event and project management, she has built a career on the kind of details most people never notice until something goes wrong. At JLJ that means payments land on time, schedules line up and the team has what it needs before anyone has to ask.

What makes Bianca different is how she connects the dots across the whole company. She is not just watching one piece of the operation, she is watching how all of them fit together. That is what lets our advisors stay focused on clients instead of logistics, and it is a big part of why trips at Just Landed Jets come together as smoothly as they do.

Four Questions With Chief of Staff Bianca Manica

What do you actually do at Just Landed Jets, and how does that show up for clients even though you're behind the scenes?

I help keep everything running smoothly, both for our clients and for our team. I manage finances, HR and the day to day details that keep things organized and on track, from payroll to accounts payable. I like creating structure without making things feel rigid, so the team can do their best work without unnecessary stress. When everything behind the operation is running well, the client experience naturally feels seamless and elevated. In private aviation, the only thing that should be up in the air is the aircraft.

What's something about your job most people wouldn't expect?

We are a fully remote team, so part of my job is basically professional culture coordinator with a slight emphasis on chaos. I try to keep everyone connected from afar, whether that's pulling a prank on our CEO during a weekly call or getting the team to join the latest TikTok trend. It looks like fun because it is, but it's also how we keep people engaged and actually enjoying work no matter where they're logging in from.

What kind of demands does private aviation put on your role that people might not expect?

You learn fast that there is no such thing as a standard request in this business. One day it's sourcing a rare bottle of wine, the next it's last minute catering with ten dietary restrictions, and somewhere in between an employee needs something just as urgent to keep things running. We have mastered the art of the pivot. You say "interesting request," we say "give us a minute," and somehow it all comes together. If it looks easy, that just means we did it right.

What excites you most about working in private aviation?

Honestly, it's the team. I get to work with people I genuinely enjoy every day, and that makes everything run that much better. And if the job happens to bring me face to face with my celebrity crush Tom Brady, that doesn't hurt either.
